Curacao

In Curacao by Paul Reginaldi

Some of my better macro pictures have come from diving Curacao. My first diving experience in Curacao was in 2002. Curacao is outside the hurricane belt, making it a safe place to dive with good weather. The Remora as shown in images one and two are of the family Echeneidae, having on the head a sucking disk with which they attach themselves to sharks, whales, sea turtles or the hulls of ships. Also called shark sucker, suckerfish, suckfish.
